His debut novel, The Rise of Demons, is the first book in The Dark War Trilogy, a series exploring power, belief, and what happens when the world’s most comforting lies begin to fail.

When he isn’t writing, Colum enjoys reading across fantasy and science fiction, worldbuilding far beyond what is strictly necessary, and learning firsthand just how much work goes into bringing a book from idea to publication.
